Lorca is widely known as the Baroque City because of the outstanding legacy of this style in the architecture of the city centre. An important stop along a Roman road, Lorca seems to have always been a crossroad of cultures and races.

Interesting Fact
Lorca was the Christian kingdoms’ last frontier over two hundred years, until the kingdom of Granada fell (13th and 15th centuries). |
